Dennis is an NHS accredited Project Director at NHS Dumfries and Galloway Health Board currently building and leading since 2012 a high performing team for the delivery of a new (greenfield) major acute hospital (total capex > £250m), the largest within the Scottish Government’s innovative Non-Profit Distributing (NPD programme).

Dennis has been a Project Director for various NHS organisations since 2000, successfully delivering numerous major complex PPP healthcare projects in England and more recently in Scotland including the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy; St Andrews Hospital and Community Centre and the award winning Elmview and Muirview Mental Health Units at Stratheden Hospital in Fife. He successfully introduced, via pilot projects, the use of modern (NEC(3)) partnering initiatives to NHS Health Boards in Scotland. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building; a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Surveyors and a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and holds several postgraduate engineering, project management and business qualifications. He is also an experienced Gateway Reviewer of major public sector infrastructure projects.

Prior to joining the NHS, Dennis had over 20 years' of significant supply-side experience including being a Project Director interfacing with public-sector clients at senior levels on behalf of major PPP and PFI consortiums on a variety of major infrastructure projects including Schools, Prisons, MOD and Healthcare facilities.
